Andrea, Home Health Aide Andrea has worked with TLC for one year and has spent her career working with senior citizens as an activities assistant and activities director. She graduated from Rolla High School in 2002 and still lives in Rolla. Andrea loves bowling and watching her 12 year old son, Xavier, play sports. She enjoys spur of the moment road trips. Andrea and Xavier have a dog (Jasmine) and a cat (Kiki).
Nicole, Home Health Aide Nicole is one of TLC’s newest aides, on the job for two weeks! Before TLC, she was a full-time homemaker. Nicole attended high school in Jordan, Minnesota and also went to Regency Beauty Institute. She and her husband have been married eight years and they have three daughters; Amy-11, Zoe-7, and Mia – 16 months. They have an English Mastiff named Titus and two cats, Sassy and Lucy. In her “spare” time, Nicole likes to bowl and play bingo at the VFW. She has a knack for refurbishing kitchens and wood furniture. The one thing about Nicole that no one else knows is . . . she talks in her sleep. I have a feeling her husband knows!
Katie Bergevin, Office Clerk/Scheduler Katie is TLC’s clerk/scheduler. She ensures that each client is cared for by one of our quality home health aides. It’s similar to the task of an air traffic controller! Katie is from St. James, Missouri and has worked with TLC for three years. Before TLC, she was a professional hula-hooper. At 17, Katie graduated from cosmetology school. When Katie isn’t keeping up with schedules, she spends time exploring new things to do with her nine year old daughter, Emma.
Rose, Home Health Aide Rose is originally from the Philippines and been in the U.S. and St. James, Mo for 18 years. Rose and her husband, Russell, have a 17 year old daughter attending high school in Washington, Mo. They have an English bulldog named Lola. When she isn’t taking care of clients, Rose likes to travel and shop. She also loves to dance and sing (although she says she CAN’T sing).
Peggy Wilson, Administrative Assistant Peggy Wilson is a native Floridian. She moved to Missouri 45 years ago to be with her family. At 17, she began her medical career as a phlebotomist. Peggy worked for a different home health agency for seven years then TLC opened its doors and had to have Peggy’s experience and wisdom on their team. She has been with TLC eight years now. Peggy is married with three grown boys; Jerry-32, David-31 and Cody-22. She and her family LOVE to bowl and Peggy volunteers her time organizing and coaching the youth bowling league at Coachlight Lanes in Rolla. Peggy’s mission in life is to help people and make a difference in their lives.
Mariah Walters, LPN Mariah is a Rolla High School graduate originally from Salem and currently lives there with her husband, Tom. Mariah met Tom working at McDonalds in Salem nine years ago. They married in 2014 and have a (almost) two year old daughter, Crystal Dawn. Kiki, a stray rescued cat, was also added to the family. Mariah attended RTC (Rolla Technical Center) for her Certified Nursing Assistant certification and received her Licensed Practical Nursing degree from RTC in 2013.
Stephanie, Home Health Aide Stephanie has been with TLC two years and hails from Michigan. She and her family have been in Rolla since 2012. Stephanie and her husband, Shannon, have been together 12 years and have three boys; Kayden (9) and twins Conner and Shannon, Jr. (7). Stephanie works long hours with TLC and still finds time to volunteer at Mark Twain Elementary and be the perfect example of soccer mom. She loved to read intriguing stories from Harry Potter to 50 Shades of Grey. If that isn’t enough, Stephanie also enjoys crafting in her dwindling spare time.
Agnes, Home Health Aide Agnes is a full-time medical transcriptionist and has been working with TLC part-time for almost two years as a home health aide. A St. Louis native, Agnes fell in love with the rural atmosphere of Phelps County and bought property near Rolla 15 years ago. She has dogs, cats and, interestingly, she is a beekeeper. Agnes loves gardening. As a child she watched her mother weeding the garden then replanted them all when mom wasn’t looking. Now that is a true passion for digging in the dirt!
Danetra Nelson Edwards, RN Dani is one of TLC’s busy Registered Nurses that take care of patients in their homes. Dani is from St. James, Missouri and graduated as a proud St. James Tiger. She attended Rolla Technical Center (RTC) and received her LPN certification in 2012 then attended Lincoln University to achieve Registered Nurse licensing in 2015. She received her B.G.S. from Columbia College this year. Danetra married her high school sweetheart, Greg, in 2012. They live in St. James with their two cats, Peppermint and Cheddar, and their dog, Alfredo.
